All of our cakes are made in our 5* rated kitchen, by our in house team.

Our freshly baked cakes are made in house, with fresh ingredients combined. This way we can quality check everything and insure that our continued 5 rating is carried out the way that we know it should be. All kitchen staff are qualified level 2 food. Our head cook Michelle, has worked on all the recipes to provide consistency throughout the team. We're super excited for 2024 as we have had a revamp of our recipes, so they still reach our own high expectations.

Fiddlesticks Sunday best cakes

Our Sunday best cake, is the whole cake as if we were making them for the counter with fruit, frosting, jam, and piping... (depending on your flavour choice of course)

For a Sunday best, we always go a tad extra.

Want to make your sunday best a tall cake. A extra cake is £20. Toppers start from £5. As with any specially made cake, it must be pre-ordered 48hrs before required date.We recommend that you email us your requirements for our records or come into shop for assistance and guidance.

The best ingredients only...

Every cake we make, we can count the ingredients on one hand. We do not buy in bags of mix it yourself cake. We bake fresh to a baking schedule, to set recipes that we have adapted to represent our brand, ethos, quality standards and tastes.

Our recipes have been reviewed and revamped for 2022.

Struggling for inspiration?

Don't you have a cake in mind? No problem. We will be happy to look over any references, using parts that you like of each one, with a touch of us thrown in as well. We do not carbon copy anyone's cake, but will happily create a styled cake in a range of choices to meet your events needs. It may be similar but it will never be the same. We will also help inspire you too...

Time is also a major factor..

Were more than happy to apply every creative skill we have, but this means time, planning and logistics. Your budget will affect the level of how much can be done, including the time allowances we have. So, please order in advance, and secondly we will guide you through the process so you still have a cake of your dreams, no matter the budget.

We can also create props, toppers and decoration to enhance your cake. This is a additional cost. Which we can work into your design.

Speciality cakes

From novelty cakes, to highly decorated and intricate cakes. Using real butter frosting to create texture and colours with the top end food colours used by professionals in our industry. This is the same with flavours, we either make them or by the best brand. We don't introduce fake flavours, or cheap artificial flavours, we buy in from top suppliers recommended to us by high level bakers & mentors.

Enriched flavours

£70

We make varying flavours and will happily accommodate flavours for you that we believe will work well together. We do not supply alcohol cakes, due to not being licensed. Your more than welcome to buy your own extra bits and we will add them into the design for you.

Our ganache is made with real chocolate and double cream and will vary in ratio depending on the needs of the design.

WEDDING CAKES AND TIERED CAKES ARE QUOTED SERPATELY.

Prices are dependent on the requirements of your cake and choices. Therefore prices may vary slightly. We do our best to stay as closely as we can to the our set prices. We will however guide you and explain any price differences based on your request.

Food Allergies & Intolerances

The reason we rate a 5 is because of our hazzard management in regards to allergens.

We take it very seriously how we manage products that may be considered in the minority, but can be a health hazard to someone with a allergy or intolerance.

We're NOT a gluten free kitchen. We can substitute ingredients for others. But we will NEVER say that they are free from all allergens. This is because our kitchen is small, and despite how good we clean and maintain our working area. We can't eliminate everything from our hazzard list, including the kitchen sink.
If your allergy is moderate to severe we will openly advise you that the risk is high, and therefore may recommend that we do not serve you.
All that being said... Any cakes which contain allergens are kept separate, including our free from range.
Our free from range is vegan friendly, it's good for those who may want to eliminate elements from their diet or who have mild intolerances managed through diet.
We cook our free from range by pre-order only

If you have a dietary requirement, intolerance, or allergy. Please talk to a member of staff prior to agreeing any orders. They will advise and guide you in the process, and record all needs for our hazzard managment when preparing and cooking food.
